O'c Gpu

Well it really depends on the gfx card itself and how high you can overclock it. Also the game itself pays a role in whether u actually see a perf diff or not.
I overclock my GPU quite high and definitely see that it smooths out Oblivion and FEAR. It really takes effect if your FPS is low to begin with (around 30 and below). Just be careful overclocking can create artifacts in some games. The most noticeable artifact is when a polygon in the game is stretched beyond recognition. Youll see a spike of a polygon jutting 10 feet from the object hehe. I use ATITool for OCing. It was made for ATI cards but is said to work fine with nVidia. nTune is prolly just as good. I'd recommend getting ATITool anyways because it has a really nice artifact scanner so you can find how high you can OC without showing artifacts.

boohoo, ahahahaha... I can't figure a way to o'c my GPU with RivaTuner, step-by-step help please, I've got my fist ready to hit my LCD...

Coolbits is a tweak for the nVidia control panel to display overclocking which im pretty sure is what nTune is... just google it

Ok since no one seems like they have any answers. I downloaded Rivatuner to help ya out. Ok when you open up RivaTuner, on the main tab.

it will take you to the overclocking panel, just check the enable low level hardware overclocking box and you can start overclocking. Use to ATITool artifact scanner to check system stability.
