OCZ DDR2 memory problems

Just bought 4x2GB of OCZ gold series 800MHz 5-5-5 timing DDR2 RAM, so 8GB altogether. I'm trying to put em all on an Asus P5NE SLI motherboard which is capable of up to 8GB of DDR2 memory, 4x2GB sticks, which is what i have

It will boot up 4GB but when all 4 sticks are in the bios won't bot, i even got 1 long bios beep at one point instead of the normal one hort one to give the ok and boot.

none of the sticks are corrupt because each set will work with 4GB, i can't put 6 GB in because it must have 1&2 or 3&4 filled, so even number needed.

I am running Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit, so the OS is no problem, it's either the motherboard or bios, any ideas of what i can do anyone?

Some motherboard just don't like been used with all 4 slots occupied, like check reviews on Newgg or look on google "your mobo 8Gb ram"

ya might be a settings in the bios or maybe a jumper you have to change on the motherboard? I dont know I've never had issues with amount of ram.
