I was looking at that mouse and it seems to have nice features for a decent price -also the brand name is semi-well known....idk though I am new to the whole 'gaming' mouse and keyboard thing...I was also thinking of getting a Microsoft Sidewinder mouse, but there are many different ones....Would you guys recommend any of those mice ? ....or recommend another ? I dont want to spend over 50 for a mouse if possible...

I am also interested in a gaming keyboard -but I dont need an LCD on it, just want a good quality one maybe with a 'quiet' keyboard and some lights, also doesnt need many preset buttons because I dont really use that -but I might in the future who knows?....I am also new to the whole 'gaming keyboard' thing and I need a little guidance on both of these subjects....I was hoping not to spend over 30 for a decent keyboard, what do you guys think?...the LCD feature seems nice-but also expensive and unnecessary-but if your recommendation happens to have one and isnt too far off my budget I will definitely consider it!...

I have a Cyber Snipa Stinger.

It the most comfortable mouse I have ever held, and Its got a high DPI setting, allowing you to be more accurate (I have maxed out the DPI, but dropped the sensitivity, so that its accurate, without the very high sensitivity)

And it really is good.

My score on CoD4 has increased 2fold... No jokes.

I was gonna get the Razer Diamondback 3G. It was nice and comfortable, but the place where your thumb rests sits too low, and drags too much (cause your thumb touches the mousing surface (mat etc))

It looks exactly like the OCZ, but its red.

Its given no problems, and its got all the buttons you need, but main the benefit of this mouse is that you cant accidentally press a button, and they are out of accidental reach, but they can easily reached when you actually NEED it. And the software is pretty easy to use.

My brother in law bought a Razor mouse and ended up buying a new one about 4 months later. The rubber surface coating rubbed off to the bare plastic...not good quality:mad: I tried it a couple times, I didn't like it. Not comfortable for me.

i wouldnt recommend the mouse you posted... instead, look into this mouse:

The G5 is a great mouse...I have used it before, silky smooth and very responsive and accurate. Once again Logitech builds another great product:) I don't think you will be disappointed with this mouse;)

This is the one I use...almost the same thing as the G5. I have been using it for about 5 months and never regretted buying it, fantastic product:) The MX518 is a gamers mouse for sure. Very responsive and comfortable.

I have the logitech mx518, but the g5 would also be a good mouse as well.

G5 > MX518

Just cause its laser...

But seriously, the Cyber Snipa is a Top contender. It even has a weight system.

Its got high end features, but with a low price...

The only con, is that its red... I dont mind though cause my fans are red...

yet another vote got the g5. i've used a lot of other gaming mice at LANs and whatnot, and they all feel disappointing after getting used to it.

Well, logitech G5 is probably the best gaming mouse for the price/performance/reliability right now imo, i had one i used for ~2 years until i upgraded to a G9, still use the G5 with my laptop, awesome mouse. Microsoft makes ok keyboard...but if you want something like backlight and such, id recommend razer, logitech, or saitek for keyboards. This is also a great keyboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823175006

What about gaming Keyboards?
Would you recommend a "gaming" keyboard set up over a regular set up?

Gaming keyboards usually have extra features such as backlights, macro keys, faster responce etc. For the lower end spectrum i think the saitek keyboards are the best for the price. If you spend more, G15 is best keyboard so far imo(until the G19 comes out lol).
