OCZ Gold Command Rate: 1T vs 2T?

I recently installed my new RAM - OCZ Gold - and noticed in my bios that the command rate is set by default to 2T. I tried changing to 1T, but when booting I got the long beep and it failed to boot. I wanted to know if anyone knows if the OCZ Gold is supposed to be 2T. I don't see where it specifies this in the specs on NewEgg. I also wanted to ask what's the difference in performance between 1T and 2T. Is it noticeable?

Thanks!

I know in the past I had read in all of the motherboard manuals that I have owned, that 1T is only supported with 2 memory modules on a dual-channel motherboard, not when all 4 are used.

Its the amount of time in clock cycles it takes to activate a command to the memory. T1 is one clock cycle, T2 is two clock cycles. Cant find if its by default T1 or T2.

If your memory is running at default speed/timing and voltage and it blue screened. I would say T2
