OCZ Ram bad?

I fanally got some good 1gig kit of ram, OCz Gold to replace my Geil Ultra Platinium 512. I installed the new OCZ and nothing, no post, no monitor, no nothing. Reinstalled my Geil and evrything is right with the world. Tried single stick, same, tried different slots nothing. Thought this OCZ stuff was supposed to be the good stuff. Any thoughts?

If you're positive that the problem is with the memory, I'm pretty sure OCZ has a lifetime warranty, just send it back and you'll get two new sticks. I assume the Geil is the same type of memroy as the OCZ, ie. both DDR2.
