Odd issue with refurbished computer.

I purchased a refurbished gateway computer from newegg a few months ago. I haven't had any issues except for the motherboards splash screen not appearing. It just boots up and goes straight into the vista loading bar. Is there any way to get either an Intel or gateway splash screen put back on the motherboard? Thanks for the help.

Look around in the bios. There is usually a option to disable it or enable it.

I don't know if I am blind or what, but i don't see any option anywhere under BIOS for turning the splash on, OEM enable or anything like that. And intel and gateway won't help me out either.

Are you sure it's supposed to have the logo? The only place I could think of it being would be in the BIOS if its there. Dunno?

Why is this even important? You would literally see this screen for 2-3 seconds. I'd spend my time on watching paint dry!
