Odd monitor problem

Hi everyone, I'm having a very strange problem with my new monitor an HP w2207h. Everytime I try to play warhammer online or warcraft with it connected it seems to give me lag and sometimes won't let me even sign in at all. Now when I hook it up to my old CRT monitor, this problem goes away and it runs fine. If anyone has any idea why it does this I would appreciate it.:)
 
hey, what is the video card you are using? is the Hp monitor to new for the card possibly? if not, make sure you are connecting something to all the connectors the monitor may have.
