odd problems with new components

So I upgraded my main pieces to my computer
i5 2500k
crossfirex 6950s
p8p67 pro MB
910w psu

Since I put this comp together, whenever I turn it on, it attempts to but turns it self off. The computer then turns itself back on and works fine. It will never work the first time. Once in awhile i get a "overclock failed" during boot up (I use EZ mode), but a restart fixes it.

second, every once in awhile, after logging in, the screen sorta shakes.
It is hard to explain but if you look closely at the desktop icons, you can see them sorta shaking. after about 5 minutes though, it stops.

any idea what is causing these problems?
 
Like said, what power supply is the 910W. Plus have you tried just running one 6950 and see if the problem goes away.

Also, yes, I am currently running with 1 card (the second is in but not in crossfirex mode). Reason being because whenever I go into crossfire mode, my 2nd monitor ceases to work. I am assuming its a driver issue, though I havent tried messing with that yet
 
So your saying it still shuts down with just one card? The "overclock failed" error your getting on boot. Sure you got enought voltage for your overclock to make it stable, that can make it shut down too. Have you checked your temps out?

Both cards are in but not in crossfire mode unless play a good that needs it. Reason being bec of a dual monitor problem

Anyways, I use EZ mode that comes with the Asus board, which will keep it at 1.6 but will oc when under stressed to 4.3. Also to note that it still fails to boot the first time even when it is not in EZ mode. When it does boot ip successfully, the computer is louder. Not at an unusual way, but as it should be, sound possibly coming from the CPU

Edit: and for easy mode, it's just a simple button in the bios
