Hi
Im going to be building a new pc and getting Vista I see on newegg the the OEM version is cheaper.
I hear the OEM version is tied to the motherboard so cannot legally be installed on another pc. Is this a physical limitation or just a 'legal' thing. I mean, if were to try and install it on an upgraded machine would it somehow recognise the motherboard as being different?
Is there a way around this? I may wish to use the OS on a newer system in future.
Or should I just wait for 7 and stick with the XP i have?
Thanks
