my dad wants to upgrade his office from 2003 - 2007 pro.

does the 2003 office need to be deleted, or is it just a case of putting the the office 2007 disc and installing it (using a new licenece obviously) like i did with mine laptop, which didn't have office before hand

all the existing files (2003) would be ok with the 2007 version?

thanks

Hmm. I would just delete MS Office 2003. I don't think they do upgrades like they can with Operating System (like Vista to Windows 7)

Yes, all files that you have made or are compatible with MS Office 2003 are fully compatible with MS Office 2007. You can also make MS Office 2007 files compatible with MS Office 2003.

Hmm i would do just like mentioned Remove the old version and then install the new one fresh. :)

sorry, i don't mean that kind of upgrade, just switch over from 2003 to 2007...

...i should of said that from the off

so to remove the old one?
control panel - add or remove programmes - windows office 2003 and remove

install the new version, and the old files will be fine
