Office 2007 updates failing for months

Hello,

my Office 2007 updates have all been failing since April; every single one of them. It attempts to download every day and fails every time. I know, I know, I should have looked into this at least half a year sooner...
I've now tried to manually install the SP 3 by downloading it from the Microsoft website, but it just tells me that it failed to install as well. I have an Inspiron 1545 with Windows 7 64 bit. The #s of the updates that failed to install today (same ones yesterday and before, from the looks of it) are 2553090, 2539530, 2553089, 2553074, 2508958, 2596785, 2584063, 2596789.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Do you have any other errors its throwing? have you tried to do the restore of the install i have seen something as simple as a registry key being confused causing many of them to fail and a reinstall/repair fixes it.

Uff I'm sorry, I completely forgot about this thread... no, I haven't tried to reinstall Office yet, I don't have the disc with me right now... would be nice if there were some other options to try, but if not, I will definitely try a reinstall next month.

When I click on the failed updates, it mentions error code 80070663.
