with access and excel can you save it to a 2007 version, we are required to be able to save it to a 2007 version for are prof to be able to view it
 
save as should do it. you can choose an older ver for compatibility.

then again it depends on what features or adding. in general and if generic it should not be a problem. if you added features from 2010 and not in the older that is different.

its for school so its mostly, do you know anywhere i can get office 2007 professional in canada?
 
A lot of schools will have an agreement that you can get the software very cheap for free from school since you need it for classes.

not the case here lol, they want you to have 2007 professional but they give you a link to get 2010 professional but say they havent tested it fully to know if they can open the documents and whatever lol
 
2007 and 2010 both use the Open XML format, you can choose to save it in Word 2003 or earlier format though, which is the traditional .doc, .xls, .ppt, etc.
