Offset(fan speed?) & GPU temp

Just curious if anyone can explain what offset is?
does that just mean constant strength? or something like that?

I think by default my fans run at 30%

If i put my "offset" to 34% the fan runs at 60%

is this okay to do?
is there a preferred ratio of CPU fan vs Side fan strength%?





on another note about Temps, My Cpu never gets over 50degrees and the hottest i've seen my GPU is 55degrees, i've read that 65-85degrees should be fine so I think i'm more than okay. is that correct?

Gpu is a Geforce GTX 1660

Or if anyone has an idea as to how the smooth line option works?

offset % is not a direct representation of the actual fan speed %.

at 30% offset the fan is running at 60% speed.
so, if i put the offset to 100% is that gonna put the fan speed % into hyper overdrive or something?
