I loaded another computer and linked the Pictures folder to onedrive. Now when I look at pictures on my 2nd computer, theyre looking at the pictures on onedrive from computer one. So they're gone. Meanwhile I'll download them from my cloud backup. What should I do to stop this?

I think I'm understanding correctly what is going on. You'll need to signout of one drive on computer 1. You could also create a new account for whoever is using the pc.

Well, I'm confused about syncing two computers to onedrive with similar or same named folders.

This is getting close but I don't want to delete my wife's folders on her machine. My preference is now to get her another onedrive account per microsoft.

Or get a NAS, sync independently to the cloud and then cloud sync to the NAS.
