Ohhh pleaaase can i have some help with my external HDD?

My HDD isnt always recognised by my computer, sometimes it things it is full and sometimes it says all my items are there but when i try and go into anything it changes its mind as says no!

I can't find a driver that works or any program that can help me

It doesnt seem to be working on other computer either, could it be a firmware issue?

The Model is "Seagate Freeagent Desktop 500GB ST305004FDD1E1-RK"

I have a lot of stuff that needs saving and any help to being one step closer to getting my info back would make me so grateful i would have to hug you personaly.

I would recommend trying a linux boot disc it may have a easier time reading the drive then Windows will. I would certainly get your data off that drive as quick as you can.

My external **** the bed earlier this year. I was pissed to no end. Anyway, all I did was rip it out of the external case and put it inside the tower. I guess the casing had just had enough.
