1) Anyway, I am going water cooled for the CPU and GPUs..."maybe" the NB as well, but I doubt it. Well, I am looking for a "info-center/fan controller" that goes with the case where I can monitor the coolant temp, GPU temp, and the CPU temp. Does anyone have experience or a recommendation for a decent one? I'll need to control 3 120mm fans for the radiator, and all of the case fans (3 in total I believe, will know once the system is built as if I have to add an.)

2) In addition to that above question, is there a way to tie all 3 rad fans into 1 control pot?

3) will my current P-4D fit into the above Mobo? I plan on buying the CPU last in hopes that the price will drop within the next month or two.

As always, Thank you again for the help!

Apperantly, your motherboard support up to DDR2 1066.
Get a DDR3 board like GA-X38T-DS6, and get DDR3 RAM.
I you are not SLi/ CF, you don't need 850W PSU. a 600W should do the job.

DDR3 is so expensive though. True about the PSU, a lower one will do fine if you run a single GPU

1. You can use speed fan to do this Speed Fan

2. I am not sure how, though, I know you can.

3. Yes that motherboard supports Pentium D and Pentium 4. Hope this helps.

850W is fine! After all, a QX9650 isn't really energy efficient is it?

DDR3's cas latency is still too high to be worth it. When the latencies drop, the prices will drop and the performance will increase. For right now, get 4GB of DDR2-800 memory.

so basically, what I have for now is good to go? the mem will OC fine as well as the CPU.

There is a slight chance of doing 2 video cards later down the line, which is why I was thinking an 850 PSU. Also need the extra power to power the WC system ;)

thank you guys again for the help. I'll start posting pics once the build is in progress.

as far as power goes, remember that new processors are coming out soon, make sure that mobo is compatible for sli and newer processors to attempt to future proof a little
