After alot of research and alot of question asking on the forums I THINK I have it!

Amd Athon 3500
Asus A8V Deluxe
Geforce 6800GT 256mb
Geil 1gb PC-3200 400mhz
Hitachi 80gb 7200rpm 8mb x2 HDD - RAID0
Hitachi 160gb 7200rom 8mb x1 HDD - Backup
Lite-on 16x DVD-ROM
Lite-on 16x DVD-RW Burner

So what does everyone think that DVD-ROM and DVD-RW burner was just a random through up pick from a friends help I didn't do much research on them. This is suppost to be my awsome gaming computer that I always wanted. Now I need to pick the case and the PSU and mabye a alternative cooling system im not sure yet. Now here where you come in Is there any suggestions, tips, or anything anyone would like to say about this setup. So far this cost 1233.00 and thats not bad. And if anyone could suggest a good case and PSU combo or seperate whatever or any good misc cooling system such as a good water cooling I can look at. Thank you for all your help everyone who tolerated my posting and if all goes well look forward to me coming back with lots more on OCing!

those look alrigth rating wise, i don't really know much about lite on. but the burner you're looking at seems to be double layer: "DVD+R DL 2.4X" double layer is the thing of the furture, basically you can burn twice as much on a double layer disk

well id say go x800xt instead of the 6800, and it say a Raptors instead of Hitachi 80gb 7200rpm 8mb.

as for case and psu id say NZXT nemesis elite or thermaltake shark, and a thermaltake purepower 680w is the best psu out(not including 1000w japanses ones)

Not bad. I have this case in my HTPC:

I really like how it looks, and the blue LEDs on the fans actually emit a bit in the UV spectrum so I put a couple yellow UV reactive cables in there and it looks pretty good.

All reviews I read on it were good only bad one from new egg was the fan didn't work when received it.

Just because it puts out the most power doesn't mean it's the best one out.

yeh but its made by a very reliable company and it works very well, ive used them in every pc ive built(over 100) and never a problem.
