ok ive chosen my new mobo

Nope your P-III will not work. The chipset is the P45 Northbridge and ICH10 Southbridge. They control all the buses/PCI/PCIe/USB/Sata/IDE and so on of the board. They are under the two square heatsinks on the board.
 
Dude, I think you need to do some research on computers, before you even try to build, or better yet upgrade one.

lol yep that's why and ive built computers before just not any new ones so i dint know the sockets would be different and now im trying to find a cheep p4 on ebay lol
 
man i cant wait till friday cuz thats when i order this mobo i am debating on painting the inside of my case 2 since i gotta change out the mobo any way oh man i am excited lol i am gunna overclock the heck out of it
