Ok need help here Ocing my ASRock

ok i got an ASRock P4VM8
i found the option in bios to change the fsb .. it can be changed 1 by 1 if i whant .. but i couldnt find anywhere to give it more voltage .. any change of finding a programm for that ? :(
 
ok i think is good now
the fsb was 133 i putted it to 145 and it can boot and run (i dont know if its stable am getting 36c but just oppened)
the other thing (i forgot what is called :P ) its says status: LOCKED and is locked in 21 but to have that there i think the locked ststus can be changed somehow ... anw
 
I take it you never put thermal paste on

that is your multiplier, and it will be locked at 21 and you will not be able to change it. Fact

any change of finding a programm for that ?

you wont find a program that can do this - there is a slight chance that you will be able to gain this option is you flash update your bios (but then i remember the trouble i had explaining that to you on you old board

run some of these tests over the cpu to test for the stablilty

hmm flashing the bios again ? (thats not an option for me :( )
anw if i whant to go to 3.2 i will have to make 152/3 x 21 to get smth like 3213
is it better if i do 145/6 x 22 ? (safer somehow ? :/ )
although i saw i cant change the multiplier (locked to 21 ) there still maybe somehow to do it :/

there is no possible way. That chip is multiplier locked and aways will be.

well since you cant increase the vcore saftey is not much of a consideration. The question is, is the system stable at that clock speed without increase the vcore. The only thing that you can do is slowly increase the fsb bit by bit untill the board simply will not remain stable. Then once you found that point back the fsb down again untill it is stable. (you can test stability by looking at the measuring success section in here

i tried using the Prime95 but i couldnt figure out how to use it :/ any tips ? or a better programm ?
Note: after moving it from 133 to 145 and leaving it open for a night the cpu was 37c and the mobo 38c ..i think those r ok :!
