So now I've come to a new problem. Leveling in the orpg. It can be done several ways and I want to see your ideas on them.

1.
(No cap)
You have a character master level and your current job that has its own job level.

2.
Each job has it's own level and that's your character's level.

3.
(Cap)
You have a character master level, but it has a level cap (say 99), and your current job that has its own job level that also has a level cap (say 99). But each time you level your current job that adds up to the level cap.

Ex.
Mage: Level 49
Knight: Level 20
Thief: Level 30
Total Level: 99

Once you get to 99 no more leveling unless we add a reborn system or something.

Also, on a side poll, do you like getting exp per hit, or exp per kill?

Well it depends on the game.

Personally I like number 3...to be able to make a TRUE hybrid spec it unlocks more potential for a game and thus more replay.

Doesn't matter on xp....you will find it more difficult to prevent exploiting on xp per hit.
