ok old dell 8200

ok someone was giving away a computer so i got this dell 8200 i know it aint new or nothing cuz its got a pentium 4 and windows xp but what i need help with is the specs i need you to help me figure out what kind of ram it takes if its ddr ram? or some other type and its gont 512 on here now but i want more ram then that so i was thinking of putting better ram in here but not sure what ram type it has but anyways heres the link i was using to look at the specs but not sure about it http://support.dell.com/support/top...stems_info/manuals?c=us&l=en&s=gen&~ck=anavml

i need to know about ram hard drive type is it IDE or SATA
 
easy way to get the ram is to run CPU-Z on the system and bring up the motherboard, and the simple way to find out about the hard disk is pull off the side panel and look for it having either a flat ribbon cable (IDE) or a skinnier flat cable that is quite narrow, (SATA)

http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html install and run this, should have information about what ram you have in the memory and spd tabs
 
It takes Rdram memory which they don't even make anymore and its very expensive to get if you can even find it. It was supposed to be the best thing since sliced bread and it didn't turn out that way. If I were you, I wouldn't even waste money on this machine. If it took ddr memory then maybe, but not Rdram.

yeah im not gonna waste my money on it i thought it would had ddr but it must been b4 ddr's time cuz i hear its got a agp4x lol anyways im just gonna use this temperarily til i got my main computer fixed but thanks everyone
