use window washer total system erase and then install windows im just wondering if anyone out there has done this and how well it might have worked?

Depends on what you mean by "How well it worked" if you trying to wipe all previous data off that all depends on how many passes you do to the drive.

If you do 1-6 it can still be recovered by some special tools.
If you do 7+ passes you are matching/exceeding M.O.D (Ministry Of Defense) standards of wiping so that means all of your data may be un-recoverable.
(Do 99 passes and your set but be prepared to wait a LONG TIME depending on size of HDD)

If you mean just how will it work with the Install. It should work fine just do one pass and then try installing Windows, any problems let us know.
