This happended after I did a system reinstall. (XP home)
like the title says. I used 3 different spyware cleaners and none of them worked.
First I used Spybot - Search & Destroy and it found some spywares and fixed some of them. It can't fix these 3 though(DyFuCA.Internet Optimizer, Abetter Internet, IsearchTech,Sidefind.) SPybot said something like it may be runing in the memory so I need to run the program agian on next windows restart. I tried that but I got the same results, same 3 spy or adware and same message, runing in memory can't fix (something like that) I also tried to run Spybot - Search & Destroy in safe mode but it got the same result. (same with the other two program. Read more below)
The second: I used Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta 1, Ok it is able to update, but what good does it do when it can't even start up right? I click on it and a window comes up saying loading spy fingerprint then it is gone after like about 10 to 20 second. it does stay on the start tray on the botton of the windows were the clock is.
third: I used SpywareBlaster it is the same as the Microsoft Antispyware. Can't even start up. so it didn't work. (anybody know why these two can't even start up?)
I also have Norton Internet Security 2005. it help fixed allot of the adwares but there is this one it can't seems to fix. it is called clientax.dll and it's threat neame is adware.180search it can not be deleted by NIS so I tried to deleted it my self. but when I got to the folder that it is suposed to be in, I see nothing. (I can see hidden files so...) I went to NIS site and downloaded one of their tools that can fix this problem it says deleted (I am not sure if it deleted all of it.) beause I got the same thing after ruing the NIS2005 agian. there is More on the System32 folder but the adware names seems to be different every time I run NIS. The name of the adware wil be in red on the hijack log below.
Note. I tried to run all the programs listed above in safe mode. the NIS can't even start up in safe mode for some reason.
I uninstalled everyting from the Add and Remove program. like the 180search and more.
and by the way, there is always this thing tring to conect to DNS server, I blocked it every thime. it is called Thnal1ac.exe here is another one on my NIS block list but I don't know what it is. it is called wupdt. I think this one is the Thnal1ac.exe but not sure, it is called www.abetterinternet.com - utility for downloading programs and upgradeing softwares. in my NIS block list.
