Okay, here’s a question for the windows xp guys

I have my CD collection burned to a hard drive. Every band is a separate file. In every band’s file is a separate file for each album by that band. If I have the file in “Thumbnail” view, the file will show a picture of the album cover. (very cool). Anyway, my question is this…

Is there any way I can do a blanket view change to the “Thumbnail” setting for the whole thing? Or, do I have to go in each separate band’s file and change the view?

Have it at what you like it like (with it set to thumbnail view). The go to Tools>Folder Options>'View' tab, and at the top there should be something where you can make everything like what it is on the current one. Only problem is, it will be that way for everything, not just your music.

Right click the folder where all the music subfolders are contained > click properties > customize > select "Music Artist" under "use this folder type as a template" > check "also apply this template to all subfolders"
