Well, i was driving down old highway 56 (popular highway in kansas) when i seen this office chair on the side of the road, and it looked really nice so i stopped to pick it up. Judging by the scraped up side it fell off a truck and they didnt notice, but they lucked out now! I shoved the chair in my backseat and took her home. It looks to be worth nearly $600 easily, it has hydraulics and gold plating over the wheels (2 of which were destroyed) and NICE tan leather which is not worn at all, looks brand new (other then the side is scraped up a lil, not too bad on the leather). Here is a pic i took with my cell phone cuz i was too lazy to use my camera.

 
Are you sure that's what happened? ;)

There are many things I can comment on this, but I'd rather not.. like for example superstition (if that's how u spell it)..:D
 
No, i wasnt behind the truck, and im not SURE that it fell off a truck, but judging by the side scrapes and it being on the side of the road.......that was an educated guess.
 
i have seen lots of stuff like that my dad works for idot and we have found many fun things from cd's to chairs to even working tv's and more its a great place to find stuff and once it falls off the truck its free to anyone who wants it
 
haha that is awsome.
when springcleaning goes around in my neighbour hood i go around taking all the parts from old laptops pc's and other usefull things i could use.i am a packrat
 
Yea, i like to collect old computers and stuff that companies throw away, like my school, they are switching to ALL laptops in the school and will be getting rid of the BRAND NEW dells they just got last year, so im hoping to get one of them as the processors in them are the best for the 478 socket, 3.2ghz Prescotts with 800mhz bus and HT.
 
I would rather have my 30$ chair then that. I dont like leather like that, its terribel to sit on when its a hot day, and the arm rests....ewww. I woul dhave sold ti and got a differnet chair and kept the leftovers :P

I wish I could get my school to give me some computers...lol they don't really want to
 
Nice chair, I got a recliner in my room. :D I wish I could get some Dells from my school, but they would prefer to just throw 'em all away. :( That school owes me, lol, I mean the freakin principal said that I was on drugs, but then I asked and they said no.
