old amd athlon 640

Have an old comp. with an amd athlon 640 processor in it. 333mb ram. I can't find any technical information on this computer any where. Does anyone know if this artifact will run xp?
 
You could run an 486 on XP and get no artifacts, so no. Arifacts will occur if your doing alotta video stuff so much that it overheats.
 
that's not what I was asking.

I was calling the computer an artifact. I was just wondering if that processor would run xp? Need to get this cheap computer working for my little brother so he can get on the internet. It currently has win 98.

Yeah, I have an 166MHz w/ 128MB RAM on XP, so you should be fine.
