Old Computer Problem

It work fine about a month ago.
I had this guy to put in another HD just for storage and he got it going.Then I wanted it put in another computer so I brought it back in and he took it out and I put it in this computer and it works just fine.

Now,this guy took out the CD drive to see if it would work in one he was gonna use here at work.I asked him if he could put one in it cause #1 - it's mine,#2 - I want it running again.

Now when I turn it on it just says,esc-summary,f2 setup,f8 boot menu and that's as far as she goes.I can hit f2 and it'll show some stuff it's figuring then it freezes there also.

I know that's not a good explanation,but that's the only way I can explain it.

List the steps you've taken from start to finish. Start with installing the new drive and end with your current problem. The bad grammar and confusing steps make it hard to understand.

If you're only seeing the bootup screen and not your Operating System, you might want to boot from your OS disk.

Check for loose cable connections inside the case, most likely thats what it is and posting is stopping due to bad configuration.
