So basically what I am asking the geniuses on this forum, is to please help me out with switching and rearranging around parts the make the best desirable computer that I can make with the parts that I have. I know it seems like a long and tedious process and a lot of work for someone you don't even know or will benefit from but please I'm really asking some help. I'm new with computer hardware and how it works compatibility wise, thanks a lot.

if i read this right number 2 is the only thing you have that is not a complete doorstop.still not a terrible processor but you will have to find a better gpu and non of the others have one.i have older hardware myself but have to say this is not gonna be blazingly fast.if you could find another 4gb of matching ram and a better video card (hd4850 or better)it wont be bad but, again, not anything special.the others i would donate to recycling.

Not really tedious when the other important parts won't fit into PC #2 (and wouldn't be upgrades either).

Computer 1 could be okay if you did some more research. Otherwise, what are you ideally trying to accomplish?

HP one is the best. You may not even need upgrade if you are using it for ordinary web surfing or office work.

The first dell would depends on what CPU you've got. If it have dual core, you may take the RAM from 3 & 4 and put it to 1. i guess they are all DDR RAM. then install a lightweight linux on it.

the first choice is older by a couple of years than number 2 and has ddr2 ram.it could be anything between a dual and a quad core. number two is a quad core with ddr3 ram.not a lot of choice but i think 2 is gonna be as good as it gets.
