I took a picture of this beast earlier today and thought someone might be interested. It's from 1948(purchased in 52) I got it when my great uncle died. I have some films for it just yet to purchase a new light...

Um...not much else to say, just thought someone might find this thing intersting

Airfilter? LOL, well this thing puts out more air then most hair dryers(it used like a 500 watt bulb, so it must keep it cool ;P) You can't see it but a large portion of the back is simply a blower!

Hah, and thanks. It was just a cheap printer, but does much better than my Lexmark z600 I original bought to replace this HP!

lol I didn't even know it was a printer until you guys mentioned it :P
I thought it was some kinda rusted microscope or something..

Oh my...LOL, you young un's are quite ignorant with this stuff ;P The printer that was being referded to(I beleive at least) was the one in the background ;P

What's in front is an old 8mm projector. They didn't have printers back in 1948 ;P And it's not rusted...that's the original color/paint!

BTW, I'm only 20 ;P

Now if you want to see an older printer...here's my old Plotter from about '88

roflmao, they didnt have printers, what did they do with there word documents?

i didnt know what it was either, it looked like a clamp you get in workshops

What they used back then was probably iron sheets with the pattern of the print made into it. Put some ink on it then roll it on a sheet, you have a page. I don't think the dot matrix or daisy wheel came out until the 70s or so...

*snickers* and since when did a clamp have a lens on it :P ;)

The chances of getting a movie that would fit that projecter are slim. Let alone that all those old movies are probably already transfered to vhs. Even if you found a flick it would prob cost you a fortune

Hehe, I doubt many films were made for this one. I beleive most major films were on 16mm films, not 8mm. Oh yeah, and no audio ;P

Now I do have some old things from my uncle. Stuff from his days in WWII and some other things I've yet to really look into...

Um, for 25p I don't think it's possible to get ripped off. However, why are you reviving a thread from a year ago?
