old pc gamer coming back (op. system question)

i used to play a ton of fps games back in the delta force and america's army days... the question is, with new games like the r6 versions and this new cod4coming out, will this cut it? and if not, what will for the cheapest amount possible? i aint got a chunk of money to throw away if ya know what i mean.

Depending on how much you have to spend ("aint got a chunk" is rather vague :D)
I would recomend upgrading to 2 GB of ram (that wouldnt be too much...) and maybe a new video card.

Also, for DX10, if you got a little more than a chunk of money to throw down, youll need vista.
 
I would definitely agree with the 2GB of RAM as a bare necessity. As for the video card, you want a minimum of a GeForce 7600 or equivalent, more if able.

cpu looks set, just get more ram and you should be set.
