Hi again.
In my business, I have to visit costumers every day. Of course, they dont have the same equipment/installation in their companies/homes. So, everyday I have to deal with different outlet styles, like that:
Another problem is the voltage. Some of them use 110v, others 220v. Most of them have both in their companies and I have to be careful to not burn equipments. So, I have to take some voltage meter and adapters to be sure what voltage its there. I have some equipments (just a few) to do that:
Last month, I found an interesting device, which is helping us a lot. Here it is:
Take a look in how much outlets I can plug it:
And in the female side, I can use this:
And the better thing: It can show what voltage is in the outlet! Look this:
So, It solved a lot of problems which I had when I went to a costumer. It doesnt matter what outlet/connector/voltage he/she has, I always can connect devices with security. I dont know why I waited so much time to buy one of them. I even could find a lot of different styles of it for cheap prices. In fact, I bought several to me and my technicians.
I think you can find it in any good electronic store. I bought it from an online site for a good price and free shipping. I dont know if its allowed to post links here, so, if you need it, just asked me.
But I dont know how resistant connects are. I will have to wait some months to have a better test. And this device is not a converter 110/220, it just shows the voltage, be careful!
I think fixing computer is an easy task if you have the right tool, hehehe. Thats it.
