Old Satellite Dish

Hey guys,

I have an old direct tv dish and was told that I could make a wifi antenna out of it. I have done some google searching but have found nothing helpful. Could someone give me some instructions?

It's very possible (although illegal), but can be used for testing purposes. In my wireless networking course last year, I read a few articles on how to do it. Basically whats happening is instead of using a router and adapter which are omni-directional, you can use a satellite dish to create a point to point connection, even up to a few miles.
