Old School PC

I found out that it did have a second HDD in it. So that fixes that problem, but still I'm not sure about the Ram? Heres the pictures:

cant actually see you ram sockets in any of those pictures, only the pci and ISA slots, think they will be underneath all the ribbon, anychance of unplugging them so we can see a little better, im almost 100% sure its going to be 72 pin simms

Maybe the RAM slots are behind these wires?

yeah, take the IDE cords out of the mobo, the gray cords, and take a pic...

they also may be behind the PSU...

Yep, that is SIMM RAM, Single In-line Memory Module. Very outdated. However, if you want some, i have plenty that I could sell you. :D

Let's see, what kind of SIMM RAM sticks do I have? lol....

1x8MB ECC
3x32MB
2x16MB
5x8MB
2x4MB

and loads more whenever I can find them in my closet....

Yeah you guys are right, it does have the ram/dimm slots behind the IDE wires. there are 2 small cards and 2 larger cards of it. I would post pictures, but don't own my own camera. Soon hopefully I will have pictures.

It sounds like it might be one of the systems with both SIMM and DIMM. Those motherboards were very common around '95 and '96.

Yeah I used to have an old computer that was given to me that had both SIMM and DIMM and I think it was from 1997. It also had both AT stile and ATX stile power connections.

They were doing this because the computer companies were actually being nice, and allowing people to use older components, and not upgrade everything at once. If only they would do the same nowadays....
