Old Video Card

Those pins were for adding daughter boards. If I recall correctly you could add a TV module or something like that onto them. I haven't seen a Matrox card in years.

That's definetly not an IDE connection. Pins are too close together. Probably just something for video cards. Primative SLI, perhaps :P Hehe.

*edit*

Wait wait! I know what it's for. That's to expand the memory. I used to have some boards that actually had the expansion added.

I wonder what it is clocked at, all I know about it is it works, displays 16 colors, and came out of a system with a cpu clocked at 133mhz.

It's a dual head 2MB Matrox Mystique.

The connectors on the top left are "Rainbow Runner" connectors. The connector beside it is a VGA feature connector for BNC, the two on the far right are for the memory expansion board that will take it up to 4MB (Originally I was thinking of a different card that I have sitting here..) The RAMDAC is 170 whopping MHz.

It supports 16 bit color up to 1024x768. It will do resolutions up to 1600x1200 at 8 bit color.
