Omfg 1/4 microphone jack!

Okay sorry for the caps lock really pissed off just got a headset with a 1/4 microphone jack stated for computers, it was shipped from illionios when it was supposed to be florida took four days to show so im pissed. Now since i wasted a ton of money what jack do i need to buy to get this to an actual computer jack other than this useless 1/4 inch jack?
 
1/4" (or 6.25mm) jack is used in professional audio equipment. You can pick up at 6.25mm female to 3.5mm male converter for pretty cheap.

Yeah i took a look at bestbuy.com and compusa.com, only radioshack had them I am not sure if i used the incorrect searches, i might just have to buy it at 6.00 from radio shack im just pissed and don't understand why you would use a 1/4 jack on a headset.
