after a while trying to actually get my newly purchased 6800 to work from ebay, i finally get it to work and find out its a 6800le, and it wasnt listed as that, what do i do next, about getting my money back?

i mean i had a 6600gt that broke, so i wanted an uprgrade on a small budget and i went for the 6800 but now coz its a 6800le ive downgraded

What was it listed as? Compaing the 6800 and the 6800 LE, there's not really THAT much of a difference... If the person selling it just said it was a 6800, that could be somewhat plausable. However, if they said it was a GT or higher, definetly complain to both ebay and Paypal if you used that service...

well the LE has only 8 pipelines and the vanilla has 12, so there's some difference. I'm not exactly sure what the service is called, but i think there's somthing that you can file when the product you received is extremely different from what they advertised.

it was described as a 6800 normal and its a le plus its faulty, all games are distorted graphics and the desktop view is blurry

That part could just be down to monitor settings and refresh rates, but yes if LE wasn't mentioned in the listing then you can complain on grounds of lack of full disclosure.

in device manager, and when i right click and view properties and all that, and gets only 12,000 on 3dmark01se whereas my 6600gt was getting 16,000 and above

Well he's plagirised pretty much all of that listing from this review.
The table specifically says 12 pipelines, since the LE only has 8, there's your proof that he's falsely advertising his product.

First thing to do would be to send the seller a message and ask what he's gonne do about it. If he says he's not gonna do anything, then tell him you contact eBay and your solicitor, that should scare him into doing something. If he still doesnt, then consult a solicitor

well, so hes just conned me then, or gets these parts from somewhere dodgy and just sells em or so thats what i cinclude from other stuff hes sold, 6800le to a 6800gt oooo i dont think ill risk that

You can almost always get your money back threw ebay or paypal. I hate non complete advertisement, so if that happened to me i would immediatly contact the guy, then if he is no help, contact ebay or paypal.
