Ok, so i think i officially screwed my computer up. I was wondering why it had like 4 different partitions for the hard drive so I opened up the disk manager thing to see if i could figure out how to get all the space on one drive. well, guess what. i changed the disk to "dynamic" which i had no clue what that would do. Well, now my pc wont boot. it goes through its normal stages finding the drives and everything but after it goes through that, where it usually asks me to select which OS to boot from, it jsut says Booting 'windows vista'

acpivista loader 2.1.2

Done!
fallback 1
find--set-root /bootmgr

It stays at this screen for a while then goes to something with the Run manager or w/e it is called. This hard drive used to have both Vista and XP on it but i only used XP so i formatted the part of the drive with vista on it. BUT my computer still wants to boot with vista which it cant because there is no vista. before i would just have to pick XP instead of vista when it asked on startup. but now it doesnt make it to that screen it just says what i wrote above. And before you come in and say you shouldnt have done it, you didnt know what you were doing, blah blah blah, i know this. I AM TRYING TO FIX IT NOT HEEAR THAT I WAS STUPID FOR DOING IT! Please just tell me what commands i should put into the command prompt so i can do that and get it running again if thats even possible. I was hoping i could just boot from last know good config. but it wont let me do that. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been there done that but I needed to format pc! guess that is something you wouldn't want to do, is there not something you can get like partitionmagic? or something similar.

Well, how could i get something like that on my pc if it wont even boot up? if i format the drive would i lose the OS and everything or would it just be all my personal data that would be lost? i wouldnt mind formatting if i didnt lose the OS.

How would I go about formatting my hard drive without being able to boot up? I tried to boot to an XP Pro OEM disc I had but it wouldnt do that either. the disc might have been too scratched but it worked less than 2 weeks ago. please help!
