omg why this to my computer

1)Check your RAM, if its in proper arrangement.
2)Check hard drive cables.

ram are little sticks that look like this
you test them by taking one out and just keeping one in to see if the other went bad, if that doesnt work try taking out your soundblaster card and then booting up if its not that check to see if the cables are pushed into your harddrive all the way

make sure everything is pushed in snugly and wires are on snug. take out the sound card and start up the computer. if it works then you dont have it in all the way.
okayy i took the ram ouit and put back in and then made sure all the cables to the hard drive were rite..then i took out the sound blaster card..but now when i turn the computer on it goes beep.beep.beeeeep and then to a black screen and dosen't do anything...can some one find the user guide for this computer...compaq evo

the user guide will not tell you anything about it it will say to call the manufactuare
i looked it up and a bunch of posts saying 3 beeps means memory error, so it is your memory (ram) do you have two sticks?
if you dont then there isnt really a way of testing it the best you could do is order a new stick from newegg.com, post the website for your computer and ill tell you what ram you need
