On a new 4K monitor

I am looking for a 40”+ gaming monitor 4K and can’t seem to find em, do they actually exists?

In general there are much fewer monitors in that size range. I couldn't imagine using such a big monitor in an aspect ratio of 16:9, not without breaking my neck, maybe you are looking for an ultrawide?

I believe nvidia has branded them big format gaming. Asus has a monitor in that size with gsync but I'm not sure that has been releases yet. It also won't be cheap.

Like Darren said, maybe just get a TV. I have a 42" 4k LG TV in my basement and it cost me (my parents) ~$650 at Walmart (in store).

TV's don't have the colour accuracy of monitors nor the fast response times which is fairly noticeable in fps games .
