i have an old laptop video card with 64mb of ram built into it. i just recently upgraded my system ram to 1.25gb. i was wondering if there was anyway to assign like 256mb of the system ram i installed to the video card... not sure if this is possible so if anyone has any thoughts on the subject please let me know.

i doubt there is a way you can...why would you want to do this anyway?
But im not 100% sure so i could be wrong.

it wont make the intergrated graphics perform much better anyway :)

its an older emachines, with a radeon mobility 9600 and its only got 64mb, when i have itunes playing with the visualizer and i start doing something else, the video will lag a lot. i figure if i beefed up the ram this would go away but it didnt, so im hoping there is a way to add some of that ram for my video card to use, this might solve my problem. prob wishful thinking but worth a shot

There isn't on my eMachines 420, although that has Intel 845 graphics for onboard. You'll do better getting an nVidia 5200FX or something similar, they're much better than the integrated.:)
