onboard ethernet

simple question really you know how any onboard stuff is sh1t like onboard graphics, sound is onboard ethernet bad?

no, my gigabit lan is great. saves spare slot on pci as well so better airflow.

Onboard sound is getting to be better than Audigy 2 and the like. Onboard Ethernet is really only un-acceptable if u need something besides 10/100 connection like wireless or something for your network. My onboard LAN works better than all 3 of my ethernet cards. Onboard gfx are getting to be alot better as well, they are surpassing older/slower cards and on these new mobos they might be as goof as a 128MB FX5200 or something.

The onboard sound is nowhere near as capable as the sound blaster cards. The onboard graphics are NOT anywhere near an Nvidia 128mb FX5200!!! What are you smoking? Even on the newest motherboards out there is only an onboard card that is close to the MX 440!

And yes, onboard ethernet is a completely different story it's all the same 10/100 so it's not bad, no.
