onboard graphics

I dont know too much about the components of pc's so i was wondering if a motherboard has onboard graphics, is it still possible to put a different graphics card in there. For example,

could this motherboard take the x850 pro.

It will take a PCI-E 16x compatible graphics card.

Not all can take additional video cards, but that particular one does have an expansion slot(PCI Express) So yes, it could take an x850.

Well its good for some purposes. When i built a computer for my friend i made it on-board so they didnt have to spend the money on a vid card. Saves a good bit of money espessially when there just using it for internet and office apps.

But yes i agree, they do suck for gaming

Agreed, but they are useful if you want to upgrade to a high end cpu/motherboard, and dont have money for a new video card at the moment, integrated is an option.
