Once Again Mouse Problems....

My MX Revo has the stupid design of having that rubber inlay in the scroll wheel, it's just started rubbing the back where the buttons are split. It's driving me crazy... I am getting ready to throw this thing out the window... Anyone know what I could do to fix this? This is the second Logitech Mouse I have had a problem with.....:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Sucks that you've had such bad luck with logitech. I really wouldn't buy any other brand. I love my Revo, had it over a year now.

Glue will get down in it and create even more hell... Even if it does dry quick, it will still come off with friction and make a gunk build up. I dunno the heat gun would make it expand...


I am using an LX7 right now.... I've got the $100 POS in it's charging cradle
 
I have been waiting on support for 10 minutes ARGH!! :rolleyes: HURRY UP LOGITECH!!

Edit: Okay, they are replacing it, and the good thing is, I only have to send them the receiver but, they won't cross ship :( So I am going to priority mail the receiver with tracking # and confirmation. I thought they might replace it with a mouse of equivalent value(G9), b/c I wanted them to, they can't :(. So I am going to repair this other mouse and maybe use it for something.

UPDATE

I sent the receiver out Tuesday since Monday was Columbus Day, so I am waiting to get an email from them that they received the package and the replacement is on the way. You know what sucks, is that it takes ~3 weeks to accomplish something like this. 4 business days for my receiver to ship, 2 days for them to process, 7-10 business days for the shipping of the replacement. So now I am stuck with an LX7 for 2 more weeks, it's optical and I picked it up at Walmart for like $22. LX7 is a good mouse for the basic user, but it doesn't like my Carbon looking WowPad....
 
UPDATE
Now I know that they shipped it out via DHL, the forgotten shipping company. Anyway, I am so anxious to get my next mouse for TF2, I just bought it. It's awesome anyway, I wish they would hurry up.
