Once I download software & updates online is it ok to delete the exe files in my PC downloads

I've currently let all my download exe files especially updates accumulate in my download section taking up space. Other than possibly the most recent exe files, should I delete all the rest from my PC? Thanks

You can delete anything that was downloaded as long as you don't need it anymore. Any good software will always have updates and will provide new downloads for them so might as well delete the old ones.
