One 5yr old toshiba computer, ME Edition OS, and me... System diagnosis.

528 viruses
314 spyware
20mb of cleared junk
lots of system restore points

..... over a period of 5yrs. pc has never been cleaned, on my sisters computer.... amazing really, on how this junk has collected.

Has anyone experienced a computer THIS bad?? :D

Most of it was my fault though lol as i used to use this computer back in 2001-2003 until i got my own....
My sis is happy with it though since she only uses it for internet radio and msn.
Im still in proccess of optimizing her system though, as i have to run some reg cleaner programs that i was given.... that way we might see a system performance....
Let me be part of the movement when i say....

I've seen a box with almost 3000 spyware (according to ad-aware). It really depends on which ones they are. As for viruses, you take the cake! :eek:

Yep. Ran avg again just to make sure there all gone. When i ran adware though it took the spyware off, then i would run it again and the spyware would come back on again...
So then i thought that the source of these spyware stuff is from some viruss located... you have to destory the source.
 
i think some anti-virus software programs also find spyware/adware, which is probably why its so high. I think if you had over 500 viruses, then you couldnt use your computer. lol

but i have gotten about 500-600 spyware/adware on my computer by using kazaa (according to ad-aware)
