It's that time of year again, and time for an upgrade thread. I've not really kept up with hardware so I need help >_>;;;

I currrently have:

Core 2 Duo E8400
Gigabyte EP43-DS3L
EVGA GTX260
4GB OCZ DDR2-800
74GB Raptor & 500GB Seagate
520w Corsair
Antec 902

Now the MB/CPU/RAM are holding me back so I want to try i5 but I have no clue what to go for. I have £400, can you help at all peeps?

Intel Core i5 750 - $170

Gigabyte PA P55M UD4 - $140

G.skill Ripjaws 4gb ddr3 1600mhz - $93

Went $5 over budget, but all of the parts are top quality and shoould last you a few years.

Edit: Since when did we aussies say that the UK sucks?

It's since that awildgoose said you can't spell sucks with out U-K

I unfortunately need a cooler too Fatality, somehow I dont think my CNPS9500 can cut it

Maybe you could use the stock cooler until you can afford a better one?

I suppose I could use the stock cooler but they are pretty pathetic looking things!

Yeah, it's just that there all pretty top quality parts I picked and it would be worth sticking with the stock cooler until you have the money, in the long term it's probably the way to go.

True, although have you any ideas for a normal ATX board? That one's mATX and I'm not a personal fan.
