which do you think is better, and is it possible to run three cards crossfire and is a 1200watt psu enough

3X 6970 will blow away 1x 6990...and 1200 should be fine for 3x cards...but overkill for one 6990.
 
Damn, dude why do you need all of that horsepower? Thats pretty extreme! You could get away with something half the price with equivalent performance! I made the mistake of buying top of the line products in the tech field, yeah my computer was smoking fast but it lost all value in 6 months. i bought an Intel e6700 for $650... how much are they now? Lol just looking out for you man! think before you buy! I have an EVGA GTX 470 Fermi and that thing kicks ass on all the good games in 1080p max settings! As far as RAM, my rig barely touches 4GB even when playing bad company 2. But if you're willing to spend then go for it bro! that's a sick rig and I'm jealous!
