Okay I see what you are saying. Off hand I have always assumed that you could not save it. I have gone into the souce code of a page with an in-page media player and looked around for the mpeg or midi link... other than that I am probably missing something REAL simple... so lets see what someone else knows :D ... ....

He's talking about recording streamed media. Here, maybe a program will help:
http://www.download.com/All-Sound-Recorder-XP/3000-2140_4-10333020.html?tag=lst-0-2

The program offers direct support for RealPlayer, Winamp, Windows Media Player, PowerDVD, Flash, and QuickTime. All Sound Recorder XP also supports sound-data active-recording-mode technology; when you play sound from the Internet, it often pauses, but All Sound Recorder XP will pause recording until play continues.

yo dude, thanks. Regarding your setup: Does 1 GIG of Ram even make sence with a low processor and a low video card? just wondering.... :)

Is there a way to save online videos and clips that are beeing played in a online windows or Real player to your C drive???

Such files are played using streaming, which means that you are playing the video or the audio clip directly from the server your program is connected to. I don't know any method to download such clips on your hard drive, maybe some programs can do this, but I know none of them. Websites usually do this to keep visitors and prevent their clips from being distributed by p2p programs, others give you another option to download the clip to your PC or to see it or listen to it through the server.

You can search the internet for a program that can connect to the server and manage to grab the clip for you :)
