Online Gaming + Bandwidth

Hey guys, I was just wondering roughly how much downloads and uploads most online MMORPG games would use. I play Silkroad Online, and I play around 3 hours a day, but I was wondering roughly how much downloads it would take up if I played it for that long each day.

I have a 10GB download limit and 5GB upload limit per month, so I just don't want to hit that limit, or my stepdad will kill me.

You will be fine with that....just don't download music etc from Itunes and stuff to make sure you have enough bandwidth.

Obviously, the second you start downloading other stuff, you will start to chew up your allowance. If you are JUST going to be using that for gaming, then its PLENTY, more than enough to last you a month I'd think.

Its common practice in Australia, that is how they differentiate a cheap plan with a more expensive one. I'm sure they do it everyway. They give you a monthly quota and if you exceed that your speed will be restricted, you used to have to pay like 15c per MB.

That's more like cell phone plans in the US. And I also agree that you should be fine with that limit, as well as a little extra surfing on the side.
