Online Scans!

Never do online scans or you will be getting VIRUSES! I heard that once you let them scan your computer they can make copy's of your files or take files and sell them! I don't no about anyone else but I think this should be a lesson to you newbies that just start playing on the computer! Also I want to no a question! What does it do when they scan your computer? I no one thing when it's done it says you have like 100 Viruses and 20 Trojans or something! It happened to my cousin when he got his first computer (He's 7-8 Years old!). So anybody no anything about this?

Still, I would not trust any online scans ever!

Certainly it's possible for malware authors to create fake online scans for the purposes of distributing malware, but the online scanners created by the major Antivirus companies such as Kaspersky Online Scan, TrendMicro Housecall, F-Secure OnlineScan, etc... are perfectly legitimate and very useful tools for identifying and removing infections.
